The DF series dry cooler is designed for large industrial refrigeration systems requiring high heat rejection. With four heat exchangers and two rows of fans, it offers exceptional cooling performance in a compact footprint—delivering one of the highest capacity-to-space ratios available. Under nominal conditions (ETG 35%, Tin 45°C, Tout 40°C, Tamb 35°C), the DF series can exceed 1 MW of cooling capacity.

Its W-shaped construction uses smooth copper tubes, aluminium or copper fins, and is powered by AC or EC fan motors. The robust frame is made from powder-coated, galvanised steel and includes space beneath the unit for optional equipment, offering greater installation flexibility.

A solid option within Refra’s natural refrigeration systems, the DF dry cooler is available in Australia through Hussmann and supports a range of air heat exchanger applications.
