The DV series dry cooler is designed for refrigeration systems with high cooling demand, ranging from small to large-scale applications. It features a double heat exchanger with single or double fan rows, offering strong performance in a compact footprint. With a heat capacity of up to 550 kW under nominal conditions (ETG 35%, Tin 45°C, Tout 40°C, Tamb 35°C), it’s a popular choice for commercial and industrial buildings.

For larger setups, a modular version of the DV dry cooler is available, which can be configured with additional heat exchangers tilted to the side—achieving capacities up to 1.2 MW while keeping installation space to a minimum.

Its V-shaped frame is constructed with smooth copper tubes, aluminium or copper fins, and is powered by EC or AC fan motors. The powder-coated galvanised steel frame is available in multiple sizes to suit different site requirements.

The DV series forms part of Refra’s natural refrigeration systems and is available in Australia through Hussmann. It suits a range of air heat exchanger and dry cooler applications.
